The time has come to start thinging about mounting my seats, i have never done this before and would like some tips on the best way to do it. Do i just bolt them to the floor or do i need to build some sort of mount. They have the sliders on them already. here is a link to some pictures.

The tracks need to be mounted on the floor. Then your seat (tracks) sliders need to fit over this. Like what you have in the picture! Make sure the tracks are mounted PERFECTLY straight so that they won't bind throughout the whole movement. In order to do this you may want to take the seats off so that you can take the whole assembly, trace and drill your holes for the through bolts then you can put the seat on. Having the seats removeable with the sliders attached to them is ULTIMO....

That means that the seats are bolted permanently to the sliders.
Take two pieces of flat stock steel, drill two holesin each piece that will line up with the seat to track bolt holes. Install bolts tightly. Use a squaring tool to square the tracks up. Once squared now you have a bolt true bolting template. You will have to make some reference points on the tracks because the track must be moved to mark the front to rear holes. Use large diameter body washers both top and bottom to displace the loading stress.
Good luck
Joe
