I have the latest SOC badge and have tried several methods to screw it to my engine grill but with out success. I don't want to take the grill off and my hands are way to big to slip from the underside into the opening. What is the trick?

I was lucky having the inside cowl cut open to clear my 911 shroud, but you're not that lucky Tom. Duct tape really defeats the purpose
I think the only 'trick' is to remove the grill.
Sucks, I know.

Try clear silicone, works great for scripts.
But definitely NOT on a grill.
The only way to mount a grill badge is to remove the grill.
It's pretty easy to do. Shouldn't take more than four minutes or so, then it's super-easy to mount the badge.

4 screws / bolts. Maybe 8mm or 1/4"? If they are using the 'stock' mounting holes (on the sides) you don't even need to take them all the way out. You should be able to just back them out a bit. If they are using what vintage normally uses (top and bottom) you will need to back them all the way out.
SUPER easy. Just go slow and be mindful of your area so you don't donk the car with a fumbled socket wrench.
thanks for the feedback .....
Tom ... I would not feel comfortable with stick on tape
Others .... yes, looks like the grill would have to come out. I have a Beck and unfortunately the screws with bolts are on the side .... very difficult to get at .... it looks like the builders had a hard time getting it on in the first place.
thanks anyways
I used 3m automotive tape on my Beck and it worked very well. There is no chance I was going to try and remove the grill.
