I don't know about you, but I think the "right seat" thread which started on speedsterowners.com under "anything goes" is about burned out, nothing of interest on this board since that thread started. I thought I'd re-print a post from the Spyder owners club board.

If you're a die hard 550 purist, don't bother reading this as you probably have aluminum floors covered with a 1/2 inch piece of wood just like the factory race cars.
I bought a 2002 Beck from a guy in Alabama and when it was shipped to Calif, it only had a few thousand miles on the odometer however, the carpet mat was wrinkled on the drivers side and in addition, it kept creeping towards the front of the car. I cut a piece of peg board about an inch narrower than the mat all around. I then used contact cement and glued the carpet mat to the peg board. After the glue set up, I drove about 10 small brads into the bottom of the peg board and cut off the heads. This gripped the carpet beneath the mat and kept the mat from moving. The mat came out so nice, I did the same to the passenger side. The mats have stayed smooth and no longer creep. The whole project took about an hour and was well worth the time.
