MR 356 is up for sale

As much as my wife hates this...MR356 is being offered for sale,
to fund my latest project, my Harley is also for sale but more because my back can no longer take the rigid frame .....
MR356 is a basic turn key tub without all the fancy $hit.....
The Harley has about 1300 miles on recent rebuild, see my files for pic's, it is being offered for 11K OBO....

You will most likely be hearing from the young couple who are the new owners as of today, MR356 will be delivered next Saturday back to Paso Robles...
New Owners names are Blake and Gen......I expect you to give them the same respect you have accorded me in the past....
On second thought, they seem like a really nice couple, so be nice to them....

Almost forgot, my Ghia is being delivered tomorrow, just in the nick of time, I hate being without a toy for long.....Oh what about the bike? well no bites as of yet....

And, another thing....I think I will be retiring my "MR356" vanity plate..
seems like the right thing to do.....
I may scan ebay to see what plates are going for these days....

I'm sure the new owners will enjoy it, especially when they discover what a nice car they've purchased.
I hope I'll get a chance to see the Ghia eventually. No reason you couldn't bring it to Paso next year, right?

John, the ghia should be roadworthy within a few months, I suspect we will be planning the annual run to Lake Arrowhead before to long and then the Hotel Del.....
The ghia will be a "speedster wannabe"..
When people see it next to all the speedsters, they will say "what happened to that one"?

Congrats on the sale and on the new acquisition, Vince. A low light Ghia is certainly a worthy and cool 356-like car. Wish I could get my hands on one with an Okrasa motor!!

Had the pleasure of meeting both Blake and Gen outside Vince's room on Sunday morning.. very nice couple I do not know WHY they would get mixed up with us crazy's here... LMAO... Blake mentioned that they have already logged on and are now members of the SOC group. watch out Blake and Gen, your gonna get that SEG on your mug next week when vince delivers the car!
