THANKS WILL & GORDEN !  I really like my rims ! I can't tell you why, but the first time I saw them (about 1968 or so) my eyes went Boing ! Then...I couldn't afford to buy them but now ??  So there they are !!  Also...(correct me if I'm wrong guys) I bought them because they are light, have a 4-130 bolt pattern and contribute to a reduction in "unsprung" weight.   I feel that the "wide-five disc system creates more "unsprung" weight because, with disc brakes, you have to provide a big secondary disc in order to have a platform to mount the "wide-five" rims. This, I think, weighs more than a drum.

My experience is that less "unsprung" weight improves handling (read more nimble here) and ride comfort. ....A plus on both sides....Increase performance and ride comfort at the same time......WOW  !! How often do you ever read something like that ?

On anther note....I'm going out for another cruise tomorrow. Susan and I are going down the the "WEDGE" !! This is the Original and still the Best body surfing niche in the world since the 50s !  It's located in Balboa Island/ peninsula on the west side of the Newport Jetty.   Of course we will take "Rhonda" out for this occasion. It's predicted that it will be in the 90s again for tomorrow and I can't afford not to take advantage of this day and the occasion that it's my 74th Birthday !....I am blessed (I think) !!!

I know that a lot of you are landlocked by whatever but I know that you will be with me in spirit as I enjoy my day in the sun !  I'll send some photos when I get back..... Bruce
