Muffler choice?

I have a 1 5/8 custom merged header and 1 5/8 heater boxes, but I took my old Magnaflow muffler and put it on my Miata. Now I'm looking for a new muffler. I'm looking for a 'same-side' in/out, and so far I've found a Magnaflow, Dynomax and Spintech muffler that will fit.
What is everyone else running? I want something that is fairly loud, but doesn't drone at highway speeds.

Go with a Flowmaster Muffler 50 if you want something LOUD!

A can from a Suzuki 650. Sounds like a V-8.
I used to have a FlowMaster SPAM can with a cone in it. It was too loud.

Ron, I have twin Magnaflows on my Spyder, along with a Dynatech Vortex cone insert in the tailpipe. LOUD under full throttle(not much if any different than before insert), but pretty quiet and not droning at cruise. Just what I was looking for. The cone insert doesn't seem to harm power in the least, and took the edge off at idle and cruise. Smallest is 3"(I think, that is what I needed anyway), designed to fit into a header collector, got it from Jeg's.

Magnaflow and Dynomax can be had with 2.5" openings, which is, I think, a bit larger than my exhaust tubing. The Magnaflow that was originally on the car was a 'straight through' with 2" openings.
