Ah.....
That was when Jim was shopping for a new engine for his VW Westfalia Van at the "Go Big or Go Home" Engine builder's shop.
It's important for SoCal "sleeper" Vans to lay solid strips of rubber when launching from the line, and passing lowly Ferraris at 1:35 is always fun.

I was at a Porsche Race Prep shop (in SoCal) and they had this monster K-5 twin-plug, twin-turbo they were working on for an IMSA race at Laguna Seca Raceway (Monterey/ Salinas, NorCal). I posted that pic years ago joking I was looking for another powerplant for my Speedster. LOL

Turbo(S)
I’ll never forget the day I went to a PCA track day at the invitation of the guy who was rebuilding my 912 motor, a well known race engine tuner/builder in Denver. Lots of fun cars but the n’est plus ultra was a factory 935 twin turbo that ran in a class that was sanctioned for noise. Barely louder than a street car and it was motoring around the other cars like they were standing still.
