$19,000.00 ........ Cell# 626-617-9414
Carsons Beck Speedster was supposed to be sold to my business partner (Ron Anderson). He was giving full price for it. It seamed like a really nice car. However, Mr Carson was starting to communicate some vibes as if he was having some (sellers remorse)....He was having second thoughts, His wife was up set that he was even selling it...and...oh, he said something about somebody had just offered $4000.00 more for it. All this came about after the deal was agreed upon and the transport truck was to pick up the car on Thursday or Friday! Mr Anderson had every reason to believe it was a done deal! ......Guess NOT! We really don't know what really is going on. It's very unfortunate. Character and reputation is on the line in situations like this. A mans word should be a mans word! Good luck to whoever buys this car from Mr Carson , Michael (Mike)
If no money changed hands as in a deposit it is all talk---unnfortunately---at least from a legal standpoint. Had you sent a check as a deposit stating the agreed price a court could reasonably expect the seller to pay the difference what the buyer had to pay for a similar car. ANd as a vendor "LousvilleImports" ought to know that. I feel your pain but it happens. I once wanted to do that with a BmW I sold in the AM and then got higher offers in the PM but I was young and "knew everything when I was in my 20s" I have become much stupider in my advancing years. Ask my kids. They can't believe I have the brains to draw breath. But most of you know what I am talking about!
Well, Carson, looks like you lost out, buddy. I offered to give you cash at the original price. Then you said the car had been sold. Then you called me to see if I would pay more for the car (kind of an auction on-line deal)than the Kentuckian. Now the car is back on the market? You had a ready buyer (me) with ready cash in hand. I feel your pain, but not enough to offer to buy your car again. Besides,I have already ordered a car elsewhere. I don't think you have enough business sense to own a Speedster, much less sell one.
Caveat Emptor!
Man, that's just wrong. I agree with the other writers. A deal is a deal. Seller's remorse takes no part. Believe me, I have had buyers remorse more than once, but no re-dos were offreed to me. I vote for the pee-pee whack thing. Character and reputation are real big among members. Bad game!
