That's nice, Larry.
Good looking, Larry! Stan's color combo as well. Should bring you enough mula to retire on. Wait...you live in SoCal, maybe enough money to get you through to next winter.
Stan, did you see this long hood of Larry's? Stan?
Good luck, Larry. It's a nice car and the BaT people seem to appreciate it.

I saw it. I saw it almost as soon as it went up on BaT. It's perfect. I'm just 3 years too late on my longhood dream.
It's unbelievable the price these are going for now - and this car isn't numbers matching!
Rusty;
Traditionalists might poo poo at the Boxster and Cayman. But if Porsche goes forward with the talked about change to 4 cylinders in these cars, we may in the future see the original flat six Boxster and Cayman, spiral up in price.

If I were in the market, I would buy that car primarily on the fact that Larry J. did the mods!
I go to the Porsche show here in Dana Point every year and the mid sixties to mid seventies 911s and 912s are fetching high prices and are now considered the new collector car for Porsche enthusiasts. I was also surprised by how many Porsche owners also use their front seats to store frozen foods. I think it's positively a new trend.
Totally agree with Jim on his comment above.
I just checked into BAT's auction costs. I didn't realize that both the buyer and seller have to pay BAT a fee.
Then-again, except for ebay I know zip about auctions.
$60k. Not bad, Larry.

Not a bad day's work. Congratulations on the sale.

Way to go Larry, now don't blow it at your next casino run :-)
