So my 1915 dropped a valve which ended it's short 20,000 mile life.  Fortunately the case was not damaged.

I had it rebuilt as a 2180, using thick wall 92 mm cylinders.  I put a Web 228/119 cam in it, Panchito 044 heads, went full flow, moved the oil filter to a more convenient location and put the oil cooler up front.

While I had it out, I installed one of those new Vintage Speed Inox 356 oil fillers, put in a new alternator and painted the inside of the engine compartment.

It now looks great and runs fantastic! I'm very IMG_1452happy with the increase in power and how the engine idles.

Looking good, Cole! X2 what Stan said- get out and have some fun! Is the 228/119 cam a misprint? (I know the make a 218/119) Can you tell me the thought behind you/your builder choosing a dual pattern cam with those heads? At about what rpm does the power really start to come on? What's the bottom end or lower rpm's like? What carbs? Are they 40 mm? What size exhaust? Do you know the compression ratio?
