I have a CMC widebody that I bought a couple of years ago.  The other day I decided to dig out the side windows for it.  They were still in the original Fiberfab box, so they came directly from them.  I set them in place and while the rear portion of the window matches up perfectly, the front portion doesn't even come close.

Did they make more than one type of windshield for these, hence the difference at the front?

Does any by chance have the correct side windows for this car?

Does anyone know where I can get the (for lack of a better term) pins that attach to the window and get inserted down into the door panel, to hold it in place?

X2 on searching previous posts.  There is a wealth of knowledge on materials to use to making the pins from regular Home Depot hardware that can be custom tailored to your specific application.  All cars are a little different so making your own is the best approach.  He'll, I'm sure the cars are even a little different side to side. Gordon Nichols did an exhaustive article/set of posts on this site.  Read up and maybe take a pass on buying the post for like $20.00 bucks a set for now.  You can do better.

Make your own?

SURE!

Made from a 5/16" stainless bolt, heat-bent to the right angle and cut to length so it holds the window just right.  The nut at the bottom, up against the tube in the door bumper, is there to set the proper height and keep it so it's repeatable.

There is a 1" rubber washer on both sides of the acrylic, then a stainless steel fender washer, a regular nut on the inside and a stainless acorn nut on the outside to dress it off.  The acorn nut is locked with Locktite blue.

Easy-peasy, but I can't take credit for the design - that goes to Ola Miltrop over in Norway - saw his in his pictures and copied them.  He created his because he couldn't get "official" Chesil mounting posts (sound familiar??)

Personally, I think these are cleaner than the CMC triangle-tab thingies, plus -  These don't pit or rust.

Dont waste your time in trying to remove the brown paper....I did and it took many many hours.....Then I began the process of drilling for the mounts and the screens cracked in every direction !! Gone brittle over the years.

BTW, I understood that the front edge was shaped to ensure that they did not get sucked out at speed. The "bump" should be on the inside of the cockpit

I bought some 6mm polycarb sheet and cut some new ones to suit my hood
