The closest material to leather, hard to tell the difference and available through most shops as well as Vintage Speedsters where this interior was made up for this speedster.

Thanks for the explaination! I have most of the pieces to make up my Wine Allante interior and I just LOVE the way that surface feels, but always thought that it was the COLOR . . . "Allante Wine", not the MATERIAL . . . "Wine Allante".

That is an incredable build, car, ad, and set of specifications. The number of rehabs. you have done and the program you run obviously raises the bar for all Speedster builds.
Carlisle produced many lookers and two serious offers which I gambled on and chose to pass on.... Only to return home on Sunday afternoon and have a "Let's do business" phone message from a ebay auction watcher in Wyoming.
With the exception of the '53 blue 'Vette in my files section ,
I seldom get attached to a particular car and selling this speedster is not without mixed feelings as I liked the out of the box styling on this one and oh yeah.... the Type IV !
Hence, the transaction was quick and first class all the way, this speedster is waiting on enclosed transportation and it's new owner in Jackson Hole, Wy.

Now it's on to the next build .....stay tuned :)

Carlisle is in southeast PA. An import/kit/replicar gathering is held there each Spring.
