i have a GoPro (Hero2) and am just getting the hang of it. i wanted to step up my crappy shaky videos and give a try at the DIY camera boom/Jib.

using my trusty conduit from home depot, extra wood from the luggage rack, old tripod and musc hardware i figured i could cobble together something for under $25 that would help make nice videos.

only part i had to buy was a "lazy Susan" bearing. $7

anyway - we all love pictures

keep in mind - it's what this produces, not what it looks like. (yes the bungle cords are structural)

the boom isn't finished yet, but i wanted to see how it looked via the GoPro

i've added more weights (like the kind you lift) to make it more smooth and i greased the lazy susan bearing

i already have some cool ideas on shots... stay tuned - this could get addictive
