I've ran into this a couple of times , you can fabricate a storage compartment door that has carpet on it and also access the engine etc.
Are the flares on this body the same as the CMC/FF shape or completely different as with the two flared bodies that Vintage or JPS offered ?

I cut a similar hole in the back seat on my Speedster but it was to facilitate the installation of a speaker box for a 10" subwoofer.
@Misteplic Corté un agujero similar en el asiento trasero de mi Speedster, pero fue para facilitar la instalación de una caja de altavoces para un subwoofer de 10 ".
I assumed that was what the hole is for, I will be putting a hatch there myself.
