I finished my friend Jake’s IM speedster restoration two weeks ago & it is now back in North Carolina. I was not planning on doing much of anything project wise for the Summer but after I had a February - annual check up for my past 12 y/o bladder cancer a small tumor resurfaced, they got that and at the same time discovered two small low grade Prostate tumors... DO get your PSA checked as I did.... A PSE test is much precise! The good Doctor's  said I will have no side effects whatsoever from the five brief SBRT Stereotactic body radiation therapy, I have a 90% favorable case as what I have is low grade and a low "Gleason Score" )  I'm scheduled for the SBRT's beginning sometime next week, I have a super positive outlook and actually feel better than have in a long time.  SO with that said......To keep me occupied, I now have a Berrien tube frame dune buggy chassis that I got out of Florida. Disassembled it, epoxy painted the chassis, bed liner the thick fiberglass floor sections. New brakes, lines, hoses, steering box, master cylinder & cables. The IRS transmission is out being rebuilt. The chassis came with a new set of sneakers and American Racing Torque Thrust ll chrome wheels. Picked up a set of like new Pro Car black bucket seats and a reman turnkey 1641cc motor that has some nice internals. The end of this week, I’ll be picking up a new Berrien Nostalgia Fiberglass dune buggy body that is in primer , I'll do some minor prep and pre-fitting then it's off to a new local painter I found here. In the interim & on this sunny beautiful day, I'm off for a ride on the Harley..... My relaxation !

Yesterday I had the first of five SBRT  treatments, it was surprisingly simple ( in and out the door in under a half hour) and with the latest technology the SBRT has zero side effects and no restrictions..Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) | Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (mskcc.org) Tomorrow AM is the second treatment ~
