How much do they want for the engine? I honestly do not think any of our cars can handle it. Well maybe Cory, but other than his I do not think so. At least not a off the rack Vintage that I own.

My buddy has one of the Dick Landy set-ups on the engine in is PINK hotrod style Beetle and it really does perform like a 5.0 Mustang. It's just a riot to ride in, especially at night when perception is a little strange anyway.

A Pauter engine starts at about $30k, then add on the cost of the supercharger, suspect you are in the $50k range in very short order. Oh by the way, no cooling, only good for races, not street. Pauter shows on their web site an 875 hp naturally aspriated engine.....

What kind of Horsepower does something like this put out?

For 50K, I could build up a sweet 426 with like a gazillion HP, and then figure out a way to make it fit.

NASCAR V8s Run over 9000 rpm with pushrods. Not for long tho'. My 948cc sprite ran at 8500 rpm, it lasted a bit longer.
