Al’s retirement is a bit more active than most of us, I think.

Thanks for the articles, guys. The Honda I mentioned that shows up at our C&C occasionally is a Beat. The driver is a young kid that has an affinity for oddball cars. He'd fit right in here I think.

The Kei cars make a lot more sense to me than any 3 wheeled wonder. The 800cc three cylinder engine reminds me of my old 1958 DKW Universal 3=6. The 40hp, 2 cycle engine always puzzled the gas station attendants: "No, you really need to pour in a quart of oil into the gas tank before you add the gas!" Four speed on the tree, free-wheeling transaxle, and suicide doors. I'd feel right at home in a Kei car.
