I've been a long time follower of this site/forum. As a retirement gift to myself, I ordered a Speedster from Vintage Motorcars. I took delivery in February and couldn't be more stoked on how it came out. I decided on the basic turnkey package with a few upgrades. I selected the Seal Grey paint with the Baseball Glove interior. I'm in Huntington Beach so there will be a lot of coastal cruising in my future. If you're in the area hit me up.

Congrats on retirement and the new car! I am in San Clemente and I drive my Intermeccanica roadster on most days. Ortega Hwy is a great way to fall even more in love with your car. Cars and coffee every Saturday 9-11 at the outlets in San Clemente. The biggest in the world usually 3k cars its a mad house, every kind of car you can imagine.

I started building my CMC while I was still working, but it took retiring to give me the time to finally get it "finished". "Finishing" it just opened the next phase of ownership: What can I change on it, now?

The official color of the carpet is Black. It is more of a very dark grey to me.
I like it, as it looks a lot like the original IMO.
