I'd like to introduce you to my newest foster child, who will soon be available for adoption. I'm still trying to figure out what to name her/him, but I'm open to suggestions.
This is a super widebody Vintage Speedster, originally sold by Automotive Legends in 2007 and it only has 1500 (Beverly Hill) miles on it. It's silver grey metallic with a beautiful chocolate brown interior and it has air conditioning. It has a 1915cc engine and a freeway flyer transmission and purrs like a kitten.
It's late, and I just pulled it home with the Jaguar, so it's a little dirty, but I will post better pictures and more about the car soon.

Larry. I looked it up just as I was getting ready to eat a peanut butter sandwich and I lost my appetite! I think I'll pass on that as a name.

Took it for it's first real drive this afternoon and was amazed at how well it pulls even with the air conditioner on. Got it back home and put it up on jack stands and took the wheels off. They will be professionally polished tomorrow. The tach has the typical "twitchy tach syndrome" so it will be on it' way to Hollywood Speedometer for the $200 VDO upgrade.

While I was jacking it up I noticed that it has a massive oil cooler with two fans installed. It spans almost the entire width of the car under the pan and is mounted to the spring plate mounts on both sides.

I'll have it polished up and sparkling by this weekend and will be bringing it to EuroSunday.

Cory. I have had many communications with James Parker. He originally told me he was planning to buy a Vintage early last year, but I haven't heard from him in a while and I thought he just lost interest.

I take it back, Billy's/Derek's car is Jaguar Vapour Grey Metallic. I just looked at a picture of Derek's car and this car is a little darker.
Troy, I talked to him last week. He is selling a BMW of some description in order to pull the trigger on a Speedster. He lives and works near me, and will be coming to Carlisle. Sounds like he's going to do something this year.
He will be talking to Alan, then Kirk andfinally Carey for sure -- but I will let him know you have that pewter car also. Can you give methe Vince 100-point scale score on that thing, so I can pass it along?

Cory/Troy:

Fella's, thanks for the headsup. I am still recovering from torn rotator cuff surgery, but expect to be fully engaged within the next month or so... Cory, I have spoken to referrals and will move forward with either Kirk/Becks/Alan. Perhaps some misunderstanding, but my target now is wide body version, not the super wide.

I will call you next week to setup lunch in Clarendon.

Troy-- yes, it has been awhile. I see that you are still "making deals." By-the-way, it appears that everything you touch turns to gold - your orginial (colbolt blue)still looks great.

James
The engine came out on Monday and I ended up replacing the flywheel with a resurfaced German forged flywheel. The Brazilian cast flywheel had a rough surface that caused the seal to leak. It's back in now and there is no more leak. While it was out I also added a spin on oil filter. It already had an oil cooler, but for some reason it didn't have an oil filter.
I'll be taking pictures on Wednesday and the Pewter Imposter should be on eBay by Thursday evening.

By the way, when I say "I" replaced and "I" added... what I really mean is my mechanic did it.
