Dang! Two more in the assembly line.
I certainly hope the custom IM Alan bought from me today does not find itself on any assembly line. It needs NOTHING, although it would be an even better car with a hydraulic clutch, and possibly a 12VDC outlet for an mp3 player or a phone charger. The builder of this car, who Alan knows, did a magnificent job with this one. The flares are one-of-a-kind, the nicest I've ever seen. I hope he decides to drive this one...or sell it back to me.
"No Assembly required" Very nice the way it is......The guy that built this car , Charlie Baker is a VW perfectionist and has done many high end Beetles. It took him months just to get the wheel well flares the way he first drew them. Then his body shop had the body for another six months. If one of the "Makers" were to splash a mold and copy the interior design it would be a home run. I can't wait to run the roads with this speedster.
Could this be the one you actually keep?
Alan, give me a ring. I know you will be anxious to get it home, but you should be driving right by on I-84, only 8 miles from my house.

You know me by now, I'll have it shipped for the same amount it would csost me to run 8.5 hrs each way...thanks for the offer email me when you can, Need to know what weekends are good in Oct for you and if possible plan accordingly.
