My Speedster project is for sale due to other projects. The body is light weight, it is 5 inches longer than a standard speedster and is in 2 parts, joint is in the sill. The monocoque chassis is about 80% finished. I have front hubs from a Porsche 924 and rear semi trailing arms.
The front suspension has been designed but not built, this is formula 1 style double wish bone, pushrod with rose joints. I have the rose joints, coil overs and a set of 17 inch wheels and tyres, all brand new. I have other part, 914 clocks, bonet handle ect.
I also have with this project an Alfa 1700cc cloverleaf engine which has twin 40 dellortos that would be ideal for a beetle engine.
The rear subframe has yet to be built, so you can make it for a beetle or a powerful bike engine.
