Monday being the day my own business is closed, I took off for the other side of Atlanta to see South Atlanta Motorsports and some of Brian's cars. Having driven a Vintage last week I was especially intrigued by the idea of seeing a JPS car and comparing the quality of the two.

First let me say that I was very impressed by not only Brian but what he'd done with his Vintage Speedsters. It's obvious he's spent a good deal of time and effort on them.

His JPS coupe wasnt there but the slate grey Speedster was and it was gorgeous. It also might be my imagination but I felt more comfortable in the car,  not only with the relative positions of the seat and steering wheel, but the pedal area felt wider. I'd welcome any comments or opinions on that btw.  The fit and finish on the car was first rate.

In the end, I have a lot more looking to do before starting the process of buying, but if I were to consider a VW pan car, I definitely tbink I'd go with Brian and a JPS.

Next I guess I need to plan a trip to Indiana by way of Knoxville, TN. I wish I could have made Carlisle as I lived there for four years and always enjoy going back, but oh well. Maybe next year!
