After missing the boat on JP's dialed in VS last week (arrrgh! - we had a deal!) I went waaaaay down the food chain and bought my own project mobile. Now it's my turn to have "all the fun of fixing it up." Good thing JP and the rest of you document just about everything you do here -- you've been (and will continue to be) a tremendous help for this long-time lurker turned owner. Thanks to all... even JP, whom I flamed pretty hard over the phone so please no comments on that ever again. That's over and best to move on with respect of his great knowledge, experience and a long time friend of the club.

Photos from pickup day posted and questions on their way. A once red CMC professionally built by Antique Alley (San Diego?) some years back, it's now orange (which I hear is very "in"). History is unclear and you'll see why from the photos. But she's fun, runs smooth with her single barrel Solex 1600.

Quote of the day from my teenage daughter: "Dad... what's that '1600' label for? Is that '1600 problems'?"
(Ahh, I'm going to miss her.)
