I just got my new Kuhmo 185/55/15's on my Beck without having to do any wheel well grinding. Just slightly tighter on the passenger's side than the driver's side, but still pretty good clearance (about .5"). I'm real pleased I don't have to get the sander out . That and I even took it out for a little spin around the hood, top down, hat and hood up and no gloves (insert Marty here). Need to do some tire pressure adjusting but I'm real happy with the ride and handling so far. Seems to be a nice improvement from my original Kuhmo 185/80/15's. Still plenty of ground clearance thanks to my Tangerine exhaust tucked up inside nicely, the clearance alone makes up for the steep price tag. Oh, and just checked, 40 degrees and feeling like 33, yeehaw!

It was in the low/mid 80s here yesterday. Hasn't made it to 60 yet today. Still, I think I'd rather be here.
Maybe about a 1/2" clearance on the passenger side, but it seems to be just enough.

That little bit more wider rubber helps the rear view.

BTW, I had an "Annaliese" moment today...guess I didn't get my rear driver baby moon snapped on quite well enough. Thankfully no damage and I do believe it is on properly now.
Where is Annaliese? Wonder if her motor is all good and she kept her car?
FYI...a handy little tire calculator I found on Al Gore's big machine: http://www.tacomaworld.com/for...=165-80r15-185-55r15
Rich, thanks for the link.
You're welcome Ron, I thought it was pretty neat too. Amazing what Al Gore has made available to us
That's the one I've used in the past. The site Rich linked to give more detail.
