N. San Diego cruise March 28...

PEOPLE OF EARTH!!

Ginny and I have been jonesing for a cruise and will do so next Saturday, March 28th through North San Diego County (Pala reservation).

We plan on cruising Hwy 76 East to the South Grade Road cut-off, to the top of the mountain (for a pit stop) then continue down East Grade Road toward Lake Henshaw with a stop at the view point for snacks (wine/cheese).

After the view-point, we can continue past Lake Henshaw to have lunch at the Warner Springs County Club (on Hwy 79). After lunch, you're on your own for the return trips home. Approximate departure time after lunch in Warner Springs = 2:00PM

You can use Google Earth to view this route (beaucoup twists and turns).

If you are interested in joining us;

1. Saturday March 28th, 2009
2. 09:00AM - gather at the Mobil Station/Park & Ride parking lot on Hwy 76 adjacent to Interstate 15.
3, 09:30 - leaving parking lot and heading east on Hwy 76.

We hope we can get a few SOCers to join us!

Nice looking drive Jimbo... Great job and what a view for you guys.. and I am sure the wines were good too! No wonder you guys saw bears! Man what an SOC weekend.. he had a Drive and a car show over the past two days... and the real COOL thing is that we had a great turn-out at BOTH events.. Erwin being the gutsy (otherwise crazy!) guy who went to both events.. The SOC is truely growing and gaining strength with Super people and great looking rides. OK here's the mushie part.. I LOVE this group of knuckleheads! OK I said it.. whatever... LOL..
