Just for the record, we put 45,000 miles on a set of BF Goodrich 155 /80/ 15R T/A Radials..mostly highway miles and certainly not much aggressive driving. I might replace them with the rebuild and they are available just over the US border for $95. per tire. Where else can you get Canadian beer in the local Pub for only $2.  ??    Ogdensburg, NY.

Just choked ( read that checked ) with a big name tire shop here in town and they advised me to budget $1000. for the same tire, balanced and mounted. And...bring your own balance adapter too.

Yep, it'll get rebuilt here in town, Stan. I'll be ordering parts next week. It's really not that bad.....well, sort of . The choices were many and the decision took quite a few turns. I was offered a decent pile of cash for the carcass by someone just South of me for a rebuild project , but I do have the Soob system nicely installed and still operational.

I could have given the car up, but be back in the same place I was four years ago buying a low bux plain Jane speedster and then putting a Soob system in all over again. Another consideration was the availability of a 15 year old replica to import.

They are scarce.

Oddly enough, Vic Weals had his very nice older IM Roadsterfor sale last Spring down near Knoxville for only $14,500 and I remember saying on this forum that I'd be all over that thing like a cheap suit if I needed one. He sold it to a friend who helped him post the for sale pics on this site. Who knew, eh ?
