Oh, Tom sorry about that comment, I have to confess that I am not as knowledgeable about other speedster, ie those made south of our border, I hope to get myself up to speed by seeing you guys in Carlisle. Ray
No great loss. I drive top down most of the time and don't even need mirrors.

I guess on your next build you'll get make it betterish, never got it fully right in my experience.
I know it is hard to match paint but I wonder if Carey could not install the passenger side where it could be useful and do something to either hide the hole or touch it up but then you might not want to chance the touch up.

Inwish i had done the water temp gauge as well. Not needed because of the dash lights but i would like to have had numbers on it. Next one i guess!

Dead easy to do, Todd. Google image search for rad hose adapter . Some come fitted with a ground wire attach point. I used one at the rad outlet hose to turn on the rad fan when necessary. You could easily mount another anywhere you like to fit a temp gauge sender. They are fun to watch...eh , Ed ?
Looks great Tom, will be seeing her Thursday.
Or just use a Bluetooth OBDII reader
Better than I had imagined

Tom, I luv it! Hidden Safety item is a huge plus.
Temp gauge on the Suby is only fun to watch when it stops moving, which in my case was about six months after I installed the engine.

Sounds excellent Tom. I will be there tomorrow taking all sorts of pics and who knows maybe a ride.
Sounds very nice Tom.
Thanks for posting that Tom, That is a very interesting number to know.
I was wondering about different engine weights so I looked up and found this info I am not sure how accurate it is but it is close I believe.

FYI, the 3.0 liter six by Subie is about 50-75 lbs heavier than a 2.5L and is about 1 inch bigger but puts out over 200 hp stock with over 200 ft/lbs of torque. I would think that you would need a lot of tire back there to keep the pendulum weight from becoming dangerous. Ray
The woman who cuts my hair has the 6-cylinder Suby in her Outback - Absolutely LOVES it!
Wait. A woman cuts your hair?

Her name is Delilah. Haven't you noticed a change in Gordon?
Just made it home. Wow, is that a lot of power! Way more than I expected. It pulls all the way to the red line over 6K. At 70 mph it's running at 3K and when you put your foot down it takes off like a rocket!
The signal mirrors look even better in person.
Carey has done it again!
Great news. Do you lose much of the mirror surface in reality.... it's hard to see in pictures. Ray

congrats on the new upgrades. Ray
Tom, Welcome to the H-2-0 club. The power is addictive.
Congrats... Engine sounds awesome, and the mirror /signal is slick. Where did he run the cable though? The aero mirrors don't have much room to drill a wire hole through the cast post. Great idea.
congratulations .
And the only thing you'll have to do in the next 10 years is fluid changes
This is a laugh riot

Nice job! I can imagine how fun it is to drive...
Super excited for you Tom! Looks fantastic and I'm sure you're going to have a fabulous driving season.
Can you list everything that was done during Natalie's conversion? Did Carey do anything structure/suspension wise to handle the extra power?
I'm contemplating making a water cooled transformation. Still considering that vs. a brand new build. I'm going to think about it over the summer and probably make a move this fall.
Tom that video just made me grin ear to ear.
