On vacation on a beautiful day! This afternoon my friend Bill is coming over to walk me through my first valve adjustment and oil change. I have an A1 sidewinder (& heat), so I had to remove the exhaust to get at the left-hand valves (I knew this going in. Carey made it as easy as possible to get off. I've got a lot of appts this morning, and I didn't want to waste Bill's time, so, last night I removed the exhaust. After removing all of the bolts the thing was defying gravity. The gasket was holding everything up! Finally, it came loose, but the gasket seperated with half on each side. How do I find the right gasket at the auto parts store & what's the replacement procedure? Do I need to scrape off the ok'd bits? Is some kind of adhesive involved? Thanks!
