By the way, this car was built to meet CARB approval with a sealed intake system and the engine/trans was done to follow proper SB100 guidelines, so it is eligible for proper SB100 in California!!!
Have CA SB100 guidelines changed since 2012?
IDK if they have changed, but to be 100% above board for 2017 the end user has to install their own engine and transaxle, the receipt for said items needs to be in their names, and the shipping address for said items needs to be their address or a shop in CA, which was done for this car, prior to us doing all of the final adjustments and testing.
Ah that is correct. If you are bringing a new car to them with zero miles they want those receipts. I bypassed that because I brought a used car to them (DMV). They require a used car to have no less than 7500 miles on it.

im in agreement with that....have "heard" of people changing speedos to keep DMV happy:}
