You probably will want a 4.5" x 15 one - 5.5" prob ably won't fit.

I emailed 4 or 5 of those guys to see about buying one and shipping it..... I'll sandblast and paint it.
If you get pre-70's wheel they are 4x15" (vs 4.5").
I think I found one on the Samba.... the guy has poor communication.... I'm surprised that 25,000,000 cars x 4 wheels per car, thats 100,000,000 wheels and they are that tough to find? Maybe Stock Type 1 wheel isn't a good search phrase... LOL
