Have to really want/need one for that price ($3,345.65). I'm thinking I can build one for about $50 (what's time to a senior citizen). Seems like I remember that Raphael offered a repo top and set of bows for $1,200-1,300?
Yes Raphael sells the repo top and set of bows

Yeah, it seems like there’s a huge markup even on Raphael’s price. About the same material and labor as my 911 rack and IIRC, that was $650.

I have a new VMC windshield header bow if needed
Love the color on that 911
Agreed, Ed. Between the color, the wheels, and the black trim that is a gorgeous car.
I need a modification for 2003 Speedster soft top frame to connect the frame to the front bar, putting the top up is a two person task and very difficult if you want to keep the top fitting tight
Here's link to Rafael Albiter's folding top frame. My guess is they won't work with existing top canvas? Believe Mango Smoothy bought one years ago and decided he could build a better one (he has serious talent and motivation). Years ago they were like $500 on Ebay though.
Thanks for the info. I am looking for some ideas to fit a connecting bar from the existing frame to the front windshield bar. I'm thinking the frame doesn't have to connect to the bar, but hold the top in position when you set the top on the windshield.
yep. Make ye a little hook-latch that swivels and Bob's your uncle.
