I am looking for a ramp/lift onto which I can drive the car so as to change the oil and perform other services without scraping my nose. I found this one on the internet and wondered if anyone on SOC has used this particular brand or can recommend one similar to it that works better, is cheaper, etc. I don't need a lift that goes more than a couple of feet off the garage floor and I don't want to spend arms and legs to buy it.

or....here is one that lifts the front end only, yet may provide enough clearance to service the rear end.

or....has anyone built a ramp system out of wood?

Thanks,

Barry,

I have the kwik-lift and keep one of my replicas parked on it full time.  Great for oil changes and anything else under the vehicle that doesn't require wheel removal.  Also at max height still allows for engine access from above for our cars.  Wheel removal is still possible with accessories.  Got mine off of craigslist for $750.

Hey Barry, I don't have personal experience with either of those.

But if you want to be able to remove the ramps from the stands, I think the aluminum "drive on" ramps are too long for your speedster. Those ramps and stands are 97 inches long. Can't be certain, but when you drive on, the rear tires may already be at or near the ramps.

You might be better off with these, and they are $90 cheaper and a half inch taller!
