Sierra Madre - I just picked up a set. It was like 5 bucks plus shipping.
I was trying to get you a url for it, but their site is not responding at this point.
Thank you all for helping me out
Wonderful site !!
I keep saying, Klasse 356 is the place to go. Ed Rutherford is a standup guy who likes replicas.
He's a good friend, as well. Mention my name and he'll charge you double.
How dow you get the handle off? I can get the front one out, but the rear bolts ar hidden under the carpet glued under the hood and I can't feel the bolt heads. I don't want to ruin the carpet by cutting random holes it it to find the bolts. Has anyone taken this handle off without messing up the carpet?
The hood is 2 layers with an airspace so you won't feel the bolt but you should feel the indent of the mounting hole thru the inner liner.
I took the handle off by carefully peeling the carpet back from the front of the hood to expose all of the handle nuts & studs.
When I was done, I reglued the carpet with spray-on headliner/carpet adhesive, being careful to prevent overspray. That was around 3 or 4 years ago and it's still holding.
