Look for a set of Weber ICT's they will work well with a DP 1600 !!
I will have a set of solex with all the fittings shortly . I am waiting for my backordered IDF 40 webers. The solex are intended for the 1600 engine. Let me know if you are interested and I will contact you when they are available.
Anyone else?
Real Italian dual single throat ICT Webers with SCAT intakes $80. NOT MINE. Might be worth effort to rebuild.

ICTs have throttle shafts that run in bushings. These wear out, so bushings may need to be replaced as part of rebuild.
Weber IDF/IDA and DRLA Dellortos all have bearings, so much less likely to have wear problems
Hey Bruce...did ya find a set of carbs?
Not yet, do you have anything?
I have a brand new set of Kadrons from A.J. Sims used for a test fit and practice run. I also bought one of his dist. set up with the vaccum advance. As new...used less than 15 minutes running time.
Bruce go with Toms deal
My new Webers will be here next week. My solex dual set up will be available end of next week. They are pretty much the stock set up for a 1600dp. This is the complete set up, carbs, manifolds. throttle are, etc. They are from a 2010 VS with 12000 miles. They function perfectly. I am only replacing to get more HP. On the freeway I get 30mpg and around town 22mpg. They are jetted for 4500 ft so you may need to make adjustments. Make me an offer.
Tom ans Majorkahuna,
Thanks for the heads-up. I'll let my fiend know and see if there is any interest.
Man, I thought you were gonna hot-rod that thing of yours, Bruce! You had me going!
Nah, the engine I installed in the Speedster a year or two ago has been serving me well. This is where I'm spending most of my garage time lately...

Now, that's a project! Looks beautiful, Bruce.
