I bought a replica 356 speedster c that a guy had for twenty years and didn't assemble any of it. The paper work for the gauges was stuck together and i don't know who made them. They just say vintage reproduction on the front.

The VINTAGE brand gauges were made for CMC/FF by Teleflex in Sarasota Fl. CMC sold them as a set of 6 for $325 back then with senders. They had chrome, gold or black bezels. I haven't seen them sold since 1995 except on ebay and here on Forum. If they aren't installed don't cut the holes as they are larger than other gauges so if you ever decide to go with VDO you'll have to re glass the dash (I know). Personally I'd sell them off here to folks as spare --- especially if you can't find the sending units for them. Look instead for a set of Porsche 914 gauges.
i HAVE ALL SENDING UNITS AND HAVE CUT THE HOLES ALREADY. ONE I AM WONDERING ABOUT IS THEW FUEL SENDER. IT LOOKS LIKE I HAVE TO MAKE A FLOAT AND ROD DEPENDING ON THE TANK. THE DIRECTIONS ARE ELEDGABLE.IF I COULD GET THE PAPERWORK I THINK I WILL BE GOOD TO GO.
I recall them coming with a white plastic float about 1" dia by 2-3" long and a float rod. Dig around in your boxes -- or perhaps thats the missing 1%.
from what i can read it look like the rod has to be a certain length depending on tank. i,m sure i can fab something. could a vw sender for the vw tank work? The resistance diffrence will give probably give a wrong reading.
