That is a smoking deal! That would be a great mod for a bay-window VW bus! Then make it your toy hauler! If only...
914 tranny in a bus would give you 4 reverse gears and 1 forward gear.

The ring and pinion flips easily on that transaxle.
When we first put together the spyder we discovered this... The trans builder had swapped the ring and pinion for rear engined (speedster) so on test drive found five reverse and one forward gear...
That was interesting! Took us about 45 minutes after the transaxle as out to swap it the other way.
