I have the opportunity to buy a flared out speedster replica for 7700.Does this sound too good to be true? Car seems to be in excellent shape. Any imput appreciated!

There's something to be said for having the flared fenders in an older car. You can do an awful lot with the swing axle rear end and a larger engine that you can't do with pizza-cutter tires and an IRS axle setup.
Post pictures, specs and location. If it is a great deal one of us will let you know --- and maybe take you for a ride! Ha, just kiding. Considering a raw kit is $8G's (no chassis/engine/wheels/tires) if its not trashed its a good investment (provided you can do the work yourself and enjoy doing it).
