Need Speedster headlight grills

I hope you find them, and if you do please send the instructions of how to install them with the glass.
I bought and installed mine but there was no way I could do it without removing the glass.
I sat on the garage floor for hours and finally just took off the glass. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL IMPROVEMENT. very classy

The problem with running grills and no glass is that if you have the headlight buckets with parking lights in them and drive in the rain sooner or later the parking light sockets will corrode.

I'm having my new IM built with dual filament front turn indicators (TI) for both parking lights and TI's; the headlight shell will not have the parking light reliefs in the bottom.

Also, somewhere (?) I've seen hi-grade stainless steel headlight buckets for sale which solves the rust problem.

For the rust problem I had the buckets on an old 912 powder coated. Seemed to work well....

Johnnie: I remember that thread but couldn't find it either. But I remembered the pics of Greg B's VS. He used a spacer at the bottom of the guard to make it work with the glass on.

I got mine from 356 registry, it fits perfectly without
removing the lense. I was surprise that iwas also the mesh
kind. 275.00 is all worth it.
