If anyone could help with sourcing a used (hopefully good condition) replica speedster, I would greatly appreciate it.

I would like to buy one here in Southern California. Since I live in Orange County, I assume there would have to be a few available in my county or neighboring San Diego or LA County.

Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone is interested in selling their speedster, I've got the cash to buy right now and am willing to buy ASAP.

Take a look in the events section. You will see lots of posts about the show at Knotts Berry Farm next month. Lots of us will be there and maybe even one or two cars for sale. We would all be pleased to show you our cars and answer any of your questions. If you have time on saturday April 23 I am sure you will have a great time and maybe even find a car.

one of our members ( David Salvato ) will be at Knott's to sell his car. Very nice ride!!! Check out the events catagory under Knott's Newbie, click on the screen name, then click Auto Profile, then click Photo's of car and you can see his picks, scroll down to (silver in the sun 2.JPG pic) and you will see a nice pick of his car. Chris has already talked to Kirk about prices. I am sure he knows what he is looking for and how much he wants to pay. I have had a lot of work done to my car in the past 6 weeks and I will try to get top dallor for it at Knott's. If someone is looking for a deal they wont get it on my car but for the person who wants to drive a sweet Speedster home from Knott's then as they say in Show BIZ THE PRICE IS RIGHT!

OK...

I broke down today and bought one from Vintage Speedster.

Kirk and the crew at Vintage have been great so I think they deserve the business. Besides, they are only 20 minutes away.

I got the Black Exterior/Light Sand Interior, 1915 engine/3:88 trans, front disc brakes and a few minor upgrades.

Hope to meet some of you veterans at the Knotts event. Lots to learn!

It must have been hard to decide to sell your Speedster when you had all of those boats in your yard that you decided to keep.......

I took a consulting job a few years back that was supposed to pay for a nice Beneteau, but by the time I finished the gig, the stock price of pretty much everything dropped so much that all I could afford was an 18' Boston Whaler......
