My car has a late 60's steering column and signal switch..... The wipers were controled by a dash rotary type knob / switch...... I need a way to activate the wipers for a single wipe / pass, as I have shaved the dash..... If anyone has done this, I'm your devoted deciple....

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.....

is the wiper motor an auto-park one? i forget what year they switched. if the power is turned off mid-sweep - it goes until they are flat.

if you have that motor/wiper setup - you have all kinds of options for a switch. it's basically an on/off. but with that setup - there are 3 speeds, so you'd be loosing out on those with a push button setup.

food for thought.
Use a duel pole momentary push buttom switch . wire the park circut hot and run a fused hot throught the momentary to the high speed circut and you get a one swipe cycle every time you press it and you can hold it if you need 2 or 3 swipes at high ..

You could wire it to the low speed if high is to fast for you.

But its a pretty simple trick.
just wire up the park circut and you can bench test it like i usally do. You can even tap a second wire to the contact on the park circut and run it through the DPM switch and back to the low speed input Park circit is probaly already fused and that would even be neater.. But the motor will have to be grounded thats the brown wire. On a VS green is the power supply my 72 supper schematic is not showing the contact numbers.
