I just realized that I don't have torque seetings for my ball joints and tie rods on my drop spindle project for today. Is there anyone out there with a manual that can post them for me? 69 VW ball joint with disk brakes. Thank you.

Troy..... My Haynes manual says, If you have 10mm nuts 29-36 ft/lb
and if you have 12mm nuts, 36-51 ft/lb...This is for balljoints.

I believe they actualy are refering to the balljoint stud size.....

Wheel bearings, (to my knowledge), do not a specified torque...I usualy run up the nut by hand, then gradualy tighten it while checking for excess clearance. (shaking wheel with hands at top and bottom.) When all clearance has been removed, give 1/2 additional turn with the wrench. Now spin the wheel by hand. There should be no noise, no drag, and after it stops check the clerance again....
If all is still tight, you are "home".

Good luck....
