Can someone tell me where to find some chrome front and back nerf bars? I live in Redondo Beach, CA. Im looking for used or new. I just bought a used Beck and it needs some exterior upgrades. I already bought all the emblems from Fibersteel.

Ive got a set if your still interested. Chrome is way above average. $100 plus shipping. Tom p3561@msn.com
The previous owner fiberglassed in the bumper holes, so you'd have to cut them open again. Not sure I'd do that on such a nice looking car.
If you are careful with a Dremel or drill you should be able to cut them out (may never had been even cut out). Use the VW bumper eschelon rubber trim around the mounting bars for a finished look.
No nerfs in my opinion, clean shaving is in. No one told Vince yet. Rare to see a Beck like that.
Clean shavin like a baby's A$$....I like nerf's, but I agree, this car looks good just the way it is...except for the rear tail lights..
by the way, where are you in Redondo...

Don't you dare cut holes in that car!!!!
Come on guys - it's his car - that's why we buy replica's so we can do what you want.
He did not ask for input - otherwise let him have a say in your car's options.

I think it finishes the car off (heck, looked at mine in garage for 17 years with no bumpers). It also provides a stand off zone for minor parking bumps (probably more than the fiberglass bumpers do!)

Nobody mentioned this, but I have seen two quite different styles of nerf bars on speedys. One is quite short bar and does not curl under at the bottom. The other has a large radius on the bottom and actually curves under the front fiberglass, becoming the lowest point at the front of your car. That is the style I have, and it has an additional benefit. They keep the fiberglass intact when encounter overly deep street rain gutters and my own mild driveway entry. OK, the car is a little low, but I have no other problems on the road. My point is the very bottom of the nerf bars (totally invisible from view) is a little scraped and flattened. That works for me.

Vince, I contacted you about your red tub a couple weeks ago and you were already in the works of selling it. My buddy Carson put a post for me about looking for a used 356 so I emailed you direct. I'm off PCH and Emerald, I plan on going for the pismo run in June.

Thanks for all the input guys,
CIP has them in chrome plated and aluminum (quality unkown) --- I have seen solid stainless steel ones too but don't know where they came from.

Todd - I'm sure someone has already mentioned this but 'Welcome To The Madness'. Hope you can join us on our caravan to the SOC gig in Pismo Beach. We rendezvous in Malibu Beach and head up the coast. More details to follow.
...now back to the thread, sorry for hijack!

Here's some bumpers....but those are probably original Porsche not replica.
I would run Nerfs in a heartbeat.
But, then I'm partial...
And none of this "roll under" stuff for me, either!
