nerf brackets

So I fabbed a set of brackets per diags posted and it seems most guys were using a U muffler style clamp to hold the bracket to the I BEam. Trouble I have found is ACE only has 2" which are too small and 2.5" too large. Pls help

Try an auto parts shop..... The clamp selection should be larger.... The lagger 2.5" clamp will probably work as you will have 2 clamps on each bracket....They only have to be tight enough to keep things in position and not rattle... Be careful tightening any clamp as it might be possible to dent the torsion bar tube if it is one of the more cheaply made units....

You could bend (apply little torch heat) some 5/16" threaded rod. Threads would secure it in place too.
