I posted this in the Anything Goes forum but didn't want SOCers to miss this. Check out "Checkpoint" somewhat hokey but there's a 550, a few Coupes, a red Speedster and other cool period cars most racing clips near the end in the Alps worth watching.

Another very hokey (but fun) movie is King of the Mountain (1981)! Highlight is Harry Hamlin racing his wide-body Speedster against Dennis Hopper's Corvette through Mulholland Hwy!

Looks like oil cooler! Kinda like hanging one on the side of VW bus was the thing to do!
I have an idea that the 'thing' attached to the grill is a disguised camera to cut down on the production expenses of racing multiple times down Mulholland
