An automatic... that's perfect for a chic. I must tell you I thought I would die of a coronary in teaching my 16 year old daughter how to drive a standard in my speedster over the last month. She got her drivers license on Aug 4. Anyway, I keep supervising her in the Speedster, and she is acutally becoming quite competent. Now she is mastering downshifting from third to second in turns and the rare, second to first. She is so glad she has learned to drive a standard and I'm sure she will remember it all her life. It is a long way from that first day when we cruised around our neighborhood park: Starting the car. Stoping. Starting. Stoping. And she was so rough on the clutch that she wanted to quit and told me how horrible a human being, instructor and family member I was... Well, that's all a fond memory now! She loves to be seen in the Speedster. Forget the Beemer, vic or Sportage.
