Whistler will be open again by the time you are here...at least it should be. If it's not, as the other Ron said, Manning Park is nice. The only problem with Manning is there isn't much going on there once you get there. Whistler is a little town with lots of nice hotels and restaurants, etc. You can walk the village (that's what it's called -Whistler Village) and visit all the little shops. Even this time of year you might be able to golf. Check back with us in a week.

Brian, I asked Henry about the rev limit on your car. The reason is your HP and torque peak out below that. Rather than reving above where your power band is, you are better off picking the next gear. No need to go above 5700.

The round ports in your heads are really nice. CNC'd so they are all the same. That's what gave the improvement in low end power. It's going to be a great car for driving on the street as all the power is in the low rpm range where you can use it. I'm hoping you will take me for a ride while you are here?
Ron O, got your email, but you don't seem to be getting mine. Two previous emails have come back. Do you have another email address you can email me? If not, I'll call you. I think I still have your number.

Sorry to bring this off-line stuff on-line, but Ron and I are actually secret agents, and use this forum to send top secret messages to our head office....Oh rats, now it's not secret any more...

When does Henry get your engine George?
Okay, we didn't bring the kayak. Ron, it was a great drive. The road was wet in some of the valley parts, and it looks like it's very close to frost time. This was the first long drive for my new motor and I'm very pleased. By going with the smaller valves, I've kept the motor quite torquey, which is great for cruising up long hills. Anyways, I wanted to keep my 'almost new' 90.5s and I think that a large valve head is overkill with the 90.5s. I think the Web 86b was a good cam choice. She really moves in the upper rpm range. I came to a long 'passing' lane and opened her up to get by slower traffic. Before I knew it I was doing 95 mph! This is where the four wheel disc brakes are nice. I've also noticed an improvement in highway gas mileage with the mallory unilite.
Ron
