Its been a long time since I posted I was having these custom wheels made but the dream has finally became a reality.  Out of the blue I decided to install these with a skinnier sport tire.  I have a set of 195's on the old Fuchs.  If I would have run those tires I would have been rubbing in the back.  I only have a pinky nub of space in the rear left side(on new setup).  I could use a thiner spacer but would have to re-drill the rotors or shave down the studs.  If I leave it alone(the way it is now) I can run both sets of wheels/tires.  I posted that so folks are careful when considering a wheel change.  Ron O posted about these wheels being an offset of 30 in a different thread.  I am no rocket scientist but I think that pushes the wheel out further.  Thats no problem for most newer IM's.  I am not sure about other manufactures.  I already posted on FB but I know a lot of you are not on there.  Here are the results.

My understanding was that the offest is the same as the Porsche C wheel with disc brakes.  We still have the spacers on because the studs are long.  If I want to go back to a wider tire I would need to loose the spacers and get shorter studs.  I don't know how complicated that is.  I love the steering but its does feel different the the Yokohama 195's.  I felt good enough to head out to the last Coffee and Classics today in Lake Forest IL.  Sandy liked the ride. I know everyone likes the wider tires but I think the perfect balance is a 185 65s all around.  That gives you a 24.5 in diameter.  There is just not that many performance tires in that size.  I can run both sets of rim/tires on the IM if I leave everything as is but these rims are so fricken beautiful I don't see going back to the Fuchs.  So, if I don't fall in love with these tires, I'll have to re-configure so we can fit the slightly wider tires back on.

I'll get more details about the offsets.

Ron, the skinner tires are Michelin Pilot Sport a/s 3s.  They only have have one 15 inch tire, its a 175 65.  It looks very cool and has very high ratings that beat out every pure summer tire on the market.  I'll be patient to see if it grows on me.
