Hey Cory,

Here's your new project!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VW-KARMANN-GHIA-CHEVROLET-BUICK-ENGINE_W0QQitemZ290006069367QQihZ019QQcategoryZ15293QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I THINK that it's in your neck of the woods.

Lose the Ghia body and drop a nice rusted steel 356 Coupe shell on in it's place . . . EVIL ! ! ! ! !
Not mine, but worth saving/rebuliding for someone local looking for a project . . .

And a bargain ( ? ! ? ! ? ) at $5,000.

I figure that anyone aying that $ is only in it for the mill, and a few odds and ends. Of course, I DO love the patina on that shell and it WOULD be sweet on a V6 Ghia chassis . . .

I'd do it! But for $5,000.00 he'd have to throw in a new body or at least the rear clip and the torsion bars, arms, and whatever else got melted off the pan.
The rear section of the subframe probably needs to be replaced also. The fire probably anealed it to the consistancy of butter.

Greg.
