New Builds Thread

It seems to me that some of the longest,best attended threads are from people deciding on their builds, choosing their accessories and getting feedback from the group. I did the same thing when I was ordering my IM and the feedback was greatly appreciated.

Having a directory that groups these conversations together would poosibly be a helpful feature. It would be a tremendous easy to access resource for everyone else who was doing their research before putting their money down.

Take a deep breath, close your eyes and picture yourself cruising up the coast of Malibu. What color do you have in that vision?

Tomorrow at 630AM, with coffee in hand, take a quick ride to a couple of area car dealers, what ever color catches your eye first , write the color name and code off of the window invoice.

When choosing colours I went to this great site :

...it lets you chose different colour combinations and then downloads pictures of boxsters with those colours. I spent months downloading pictures of 356's and printed them out, as well as photshoped up different combinations of colours to see what worked best. Then I took a ton of swatches around the art department where I worked for their expert opinions, and finally I asked my wife what colours she wanted.

It seemed pretty straightforward in the end.

For what it's worth, I agree with the 'help the new person' idea. It would be very cool if there was a way to see who was online at the time you happened to have a question. Talk about interactive tech support!
