I just had to post these pictures of our latest garage addition. It sets next to our Speedster and, Wow, do they make a good looking couple!! It is a 1962 356B Coupe which has been fully restored to "Kardex" (full factory spec) condition. I am waiting for a luggage rack and have already made straps for the outside, inside and spare tire. I can't say much about how it drives yet as we have just been hit by the famous spring Colorado snow ... again! [Maybe I can get Sharon to put a plow on her car and drive in front of me???]

We are getting excited to see everyone in Paso next week. It will be great to get together again.

BTW, I am donating a set of Luggage Straps for the raffle so buy those tickets fast. For anyone who still wants straps I will have a few extra sets with me, too.

See you soon.

Mark,
The "mat" is really just the 12"x12" plastic squares made for garage flooring. This one is 7 wide and 16 long. You can get the squares on eBay for about $1 each. Makes a pretty inexpensive base for your cars. The nice thing is I can slide it outside and hose it off if I should spill any oil, etc, on it. This garage is in my Saddle Shop so it needs to be extra clean when I need to spread a few cowhides across the floor for layout. I really only use this garage for cleaning and polishing the cars. Not much mechanical work goes on here.

Thanks to all for the kind comments about our new addition. See you in Paso!!!

To TC ... I will post some more pics of my little "baby" if you promise not to put them up in your bedroom and fantasize :)

to Odwagerty ... the anvil is my farrier's anvil and it is 138 lbs. I shod horses professionally for over 30 years. These days it doesn't ring so regularly with only one horse to shoe. Speaking of "ringing regularly" ... TC put down the pictures !!!

George,
Good eye!!! That is a 3D plane on the wall. It is just another of my passions - flying radio control aircraft. I have a number of them hanging from the ceiling. They range in size from 3' wingspan up to 12' wingspan. Just started learning about r/c helicopters but not very good at it. Here is a pic of one of my latest models (result of too many long winter evenings, eh?)

Speaking if Helis I have to mention the JOY in our household right now. Our son-in-law just sent and email telling us that he and his helicopter (US Marine Corps Super Stallion) just got on the ship to come home from Iraq. This was his THIRD deployment over there and now he comes home to stay with our daughter and their 18 month old daughter (who he has only seen about 4 months of her life). His next assignment is to Columbus, OH, as the "Officer in Charge" at the University (a loooong way from the sand). Hoo-Rah!!!

Keep smiling,
Dusty
